        Get a copy of the latest issue of Car & Driver.  They have a pretty 
     good article on the functions of aerodynamics components on a car.   
     If you can afford it and can get your hand on one, try to get the rear 
     wing on a M3 LTW.  Personally, I think its both functional and 
     aesthetic.
