<E30> info on eta 3.25 diff swap?

Hello all,

I have a 1986 325es with a few mods. I'd like to install a 3.25LS diff in
my car to replace the stock 2.79LS unit. I've come across one, and before
I install it, I'd like to know any caveats to installation and
driveability as well as what kind of performance gains will be seen with
the new diff. I already know about the backing plate and flanges. Anybody
out there done this?
