No.  Fluid means the seals have blown.

Nope.  The slush sound your heard was fluid that had leaked past the seals.
 You should be able to take off those boots and see that the insides are
perfectly dry.

Great plan!  Getting alligned multiple times makes one feel stupid; ask me
