RE: Advice on which BMW model to buy

Jeff Caraway asked about E30 325i's, E28 535i's, and the 635CSi.
Having driven a '79 635CSi, owned an E28 528e, driving an E30
325is, and working on a 4-dr. E30 325i, I submit the following:

The 2-door 325is sucks for spacing.  Rear seat space is fine,
but we're talking chiropracty to fix me.  Sleeping 40# 4-year-olds
are a BIG problem for little ole me (5'-7", 150# soaking wet) when
reaching in the back seat.  The sport seats try to fall on me, it's
a bitch.

The 4-door would be great but has this "doesn't run" issue.
Space is sufficient for children, but big adults may complain.

The 528e was a good bit better.  The 533/535 would move more quickly,
of course.

The 6er?  See E30 325is 2-door, double the doctor or back-quack's bill.
But they look soooo good.
