Heater failure

Often heater failure is confused with "cabin fan" failure". True heater
failure is stoppage keeping hot coolant from circulating thru the heater
core. Most commonly this is due to HEATER VALVE failure. More rarely,
the core becomes "plugged" badly enough to not allow adequate flow.
If the cabin fan fails, coolant can flow thru the heater, but the
occupants have no way of enjoying it.
