Power Steering fluid

I have a 1989 750iL.  The power steering reservoir states that I should use
only CH7.1 oil.  Recently I had 2 leaky hoses replaced and they replaced the
7.1 with CH11 oil.  I know you can't mix the two and what I am concerned
with is whether anything in my system will deteriorate due to the different
fluid.  I don't have the auto leveling anymore so it won't hurt anything in
the back.  There is a price difference between the two (6-8USD, depending on
where you go)

Does anyone have experience with this??
