     I've heard about that glitch...beyond that, my gauge has never been 
     quite right.  When I fill the tank, the needle is still well below 
     full..."They all do that."(Heishman's BMW, VA)
     
     I use my trip odomter, watch the miles, and start looking for a 
     station at about 350.
