Ron, If you're still looking for new tires for that E30, try Yokohoma AVS U+4. They hold the road nicely with no squeal (until they've reached their limit). Absolutely fantastic in the wet. Not bad in the snow, either. Only drawback - wear is not that great - 30k-35k miles. But oh what fun.
