<E36 M3> Piston Slap

  A friend has a low miles '95 M3 which he purchased new and he's experiencing
very bad piston slap which his dealer is basically doing nothing about. He
says his cars sounds like a diesel for the first 5 minutes or so! He's also
experiencing some surging on heavy acceleration.

  I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has experienced/solved the piston
slap problem. My friend is not on the net, so I offered to solicit for him.
Needless to say, he's fit to be tied. The car has been back to the dealer
several times to no avail. At this point, he either wants his money back, or
a new car, that's how mad he is.

  On the surging issue, I told him that I can help solve his problem by putting
him in touch with Jim Conforti... :) So, Jimbo, expect a call!
