Torque foe wheels.

AFIK you should NEVER put any form of lubricant between a road wheel and the
mating surface on the hub. The driving and braking torque is intended to be
transmitted solely by the friction between these 2 faces and not by the
clamping bolts (lug bolts?) whose sole function is to supply the clamping
pressure for this. There should be no driving torque supplied by these bolts.
Grease or other lubes are OK for the mating area where the bolt or nut heads
seat in the wheel and also on the threads but NOWHERE ELSE. DaveE.
