Tramlining-B-Gone!

Found a product that _very_ nicely eliminated the tramlining on my E34
M5.  I melted a set of Dunlop D40M2s during some track laps just prior
to the O'Fest club race and bought some new Pirelli P7000 Z-rated All
Season tires (that's right, Z-rated _AND_ all season!) because I had a
great coupon from Paul at Radial Tire in Silver Spring, MD.  I didn't
really notice at first that the tramlining was gone, but driving today
really brought that home.  I was coming up to a stop on a road that had
two nice U-shaped channels for wheel tracks and was all braced to
wrestle the car to a stop in my lane.  Lo' and behold!  NO PULL AT ALL!
NONE! NADA!!! I'm in love! And, as winter approaches here in the land of
lovers I can drive on Snow Emergency Routes with impunity!

On another note (not lesser!) My neighbor had an extremely positive
buying experience with Auto Advantage in Manassas.  I have panned them
in the past due to some experience with an '88 M5 I was thinking about
buying and seeing similar problems on other older cars I looked at, but
I hadn't looked at any of their newer cars.  I went with the neighbor
and "held her hand" in the initial visit to see a '92 325iC with an
automatic (no flames, I like autos in traffic too).  The car seemed too
good to be true, but held up under much scrutiny so she bought it.  They
are very helpful, will get the tags without the standard ridiculous
surcharge (even took her list of personal tag preferences - she'll be
CATNIP 3 to play off her love of cats and her 3 series convertible) and
sent her a nice little gift also!  They filled out the missing tools per
my request, replaced the fuse box cover with the broken latch, and have
ordered a correct owner's manual for her.
