The Dealer was not totally accurate on this......but then again they seldom
are when you ask them about information ( Shop Manuals) that will
effectively remove you from the list of customers for THEIR SHOP !
Your 91 318i is an E30 chassis and shares many similarities with other 3
series BMW's from 1984 (318i) through & incl 93 325ic (Convertibles) BMW
published a ShopManual for the E30 Chassis in 1989. While it does not have
info on the 16V motor for your 91, it does have just about EVERYTHING Else!
To get the motor info you must purchase a separate microfilm sheet covering
later motors etc. We sell the Original E30 Shop Manual & microfiches. Please
