Jumpy suspension with D40M2s

I just realized that my car stopped doing that when I stopped in at
Radial Tire in Silver Spring to claim my $400 gift certificate in the
way of a set of Pirelli P7000s.  Now I don't notice it jumping around on
the cracks in the pavement.  Also, the tires are much quieter than the
D40s and seem to be better hooked up in the rain (hard not to be!)  I
think I'm gonna like these tires, especially since they are all-season
and I have R1s for the track. (Sorry about the shameless plug for Radial
Tire, but they also unwarped one RD RGR for me and I'm feeling rather
grateful for some great work.)
