E28 Radiator Draining

Hello

Does anyone know the proper procedure for draining and flushing the 
radiator on a '84 520i (E28 body). I have the small 6-cylinder 1990cc 
block, and there doesn't seem to be any drain plug on the radiator 
itself. I could disconnect one of the many rubber hoses leading to it, 
but is this the right way ? Also, if I manage to drain it, how do it 
fill it up with coolant again, since there is no opening at the top of 
the radiator at all ? Do I have to fill it through the overflow 
expansion tank ?
