Disabling Door Buzzer/Chimes

This is an old tip for disabling the door buzzer (older models) or door
chimes (newer cars) while working inside the car with the door open and the
key in the ignition.  Simply take a phillips screwdriver and loosen the
screw that holds the dome light switch to the chassis (no need to remove the
screw, just back it off until the noise stops).  This breaks the ground of
the dome light circuit and the buzzer/chime will cease.  Remember to tighten
the screw when you're finished.  SD
