Experienced the same on my '92 325i (as have MANY others, I've read)...My
car's out of warranty, but since this is such a WIDESPREAD problem (thermal
cracking), shouldn't BMW be doing something about it, warranty-wise?

BTW- Anyone had a thermal crack after installing the 3M film? (good point,
Flamer ...)
