I have a 1988 325is for sale (94,000 miles).
It is:
Silver with grey leather interior. Leather shows NO wear except some on the
typical left bolster.
no rust.
No accidents!
Changed timing belt at 67,000
3,000 miles on new P4000
Head bolts have been changed to Torx style (by dealer)
Oil changed at 3,000 intervals (no flames here)
All original (stereo, which by the way sounds nice so I didn't touch it)
Power windows
Power locks
Power everything (oh except seats, they're 'recaro' style)
engine burns no oil
new ball joints (outer control arm)
Everything runs very straight, no vibrations at all speeds
Window tinted (hey I lived in Texas for a while, it gets hot)
K&N Air filter
stored winters (when in Vermont)
To give you an idea of how clean this car is:
When I decided to buy this type of car 3 years ago, I found 3 in a couple
months. Each one I took to the dealer, this car they knew. They said
"David, If you want one of these, buy this one. The owner was anal;
every little thing that happened with this car, she dropped it off and we
fixed it. We know this car and you won't find a cleaner one." With
that, I bought it and haven't looked back. The only problem I had was
with the drivers locking mechanism (I had the dealer replace it).
Anyway, enough rambling, the car is stored in Vermont (Burlington). If
you're interested, email me. I think I'll be asking $9,900 obo
reason for selling: I bought a 1992 318is, yup, slower, but looks oh so
beautiful.
Regards,
David
