  Jeff - I won't even go into the merit of the question: if you think you can
  pump your brakes as quickly or as efficiently as the ABS computer does,
  then be it.  To each his own...

  That said, I really cannot see how one could infer from my post that I am a
  pathetic (albeit elevated to miserable - how kind ;-) driver who goes 125 mph
  between lights, hoping to change the laws of physics.

  P.S. How come people on the list lately keep jumping at eachother's throats 
  for the slightest thing?  This used to be a far more tolerant place, where 
  any issue could be discussed in a civilised, well-humored way...
