re: 2002 engine head alternatives

Well, M3 head will fit with few mods,
You'll have to provide extra oil pass in block,
drill hole in front to adapt chain tensioner,
reuse M3 front cover/chain components,
at LEAST use older flat top pistons (you'll get around
11.3:1 compression). Maybe Turbo pistons will be better.
Original M3 pistons are dished. And you'll have to adapt/
reprogramm motronic to meet smaller engine.....
(BTC unit shoul be best approximation for flat top
pistons, ...., BTC restrict to 2L, but red line is
about 87000 there:).

Anybody knows any mech distributor solutions??????
