E21 Baur TC

>I have a 1981 323i Baur (back part of top is a ragtop,
>front part is a removable hardtop).

Baur modified standard 3-series cars into Targa-style convertibles
for many years up until 1989, some time after the factory produced
the 3-series cabriolet.

This car started life as a standard 323i that the owner sent to the
Baur plant in Stuttgart. Baur increase the chassis stiffnes to
compensate for the removal of the roof. The standard E21 323i
english-language owner's manual should be available, but would
probably only apply to options available in the UK or Australia.
I do not know the detail differences between these and the German
version (except, of course for right-hand-drive). I cannot tell you
the part number either. Sorry. The engine is basically the same
as the 325 engine.
