Paint oxidation removal? Help.

I've recently purchased a 2002 which has a very cheap paint job, which is
badly oxidized.  Until I get the $$$ to repaint, (if ever) does someone
have tips and/or products to use that remove oxidation.  Vendors that the
products can be purchased from also would help.  I don't know if anything
at the local "BIG-GUY" automotive shop will really do anything.
