<misc> Insurance company help

BJ and all,

In this situation the burden of proof of your car's value is on you. If you
think it is worth than they're offering then get as much evidence to prove it
to them as you can. There are magazines (like Roundel) that will show similar
cars for sale, you can talk to performance tuners who may write letters
supporting your case and there are independant auto appraisers who my support
your contention. Go for it! All you can lose is money and time. If your
insurance company says the car is worth $5,000 and you think it's worth $10K
because it's rare, in demand and loaded with upgrades, then show them. Good
luck.
