Air Flow Meters

Werner,
Thanks for your posting re air flow meter behaviour and workings. I
have some questions relating to the idle adjustment screw.

1/ Does its setting affect anything if the system is within the Oxygen sensor's
   range to fine tune the mixture ?

2/ What is the correct procedure to adjust the idle screw, as the computer and
   oxygen sensor will vastly change mixtures from the idle screw position.

In respect of question 2 I suspect to ensure the idle screw position is
correct you would need to reset the computer's "learnt" ideal mixture setting
buy momentarily disconnecting the computer, then disconnect the oxygen sensor,
start the engine and adjust the idle mi screw "open loop" then reconnect the
oxygen sensor.

I am right or on the wrong track ?
