i am reluctantly selling my 1988 528e to buy a motorcycle and to have =
the money to move.
the vitals:
1. alpine white/dark grey cloth interior
2. 4-speed automatic
3. 124,000 miles
4. body like new (still shiny)-=20
a few small stone chips on front of hood and around lights.
one small chip with about 1/4 circumference of clear coat missing.=20
(i'm looking into how to touch this up)
5. NO RUST
6. you could eat of the engine, but i don't know why you would!
7. brakes replaced at 116,500 miles (pads and discs)
8. VERY clean inside. literally looks like new. tool kit still untouched =
in trunk.
9. i am the second owner. i have owned the car since april 23, 1996.
10. the allow wheels need to be/could be resurfaced. this can be done =
for $175 a wheel but i can't afford it.
11. slick 50 in all available places (brake master cyclinder, automatic =
trans fluid, and engine oil at 116,901-replaced when oil changed at =
119,000.
12. oil changed religiously at 3000 mile intervals
i paid $8500 plus tax/license ($9200) but also received a one-year =
warranty on engine and transmission.
i would like to get $7800 but will negotiate.
