Warrenty Work ...

Hello,

As a relatively new car owner (decided on nothing but the best), I just have
a few questions.

I understand that cars require frequent oil + filter changes (correct?). If
I chose not to go to the dealership to get these things done, would that
void the warrenty?

Similarly, if I chose to have other jobs, such as tire changes, fluid
checks, alignment etc (simple jobs not covered by warrenty), done on my
bimmer by a independant mechanic, would that affect the warrenty?
