<E39> Problems

Here are the problems encountered with E39 528i (US) 5-speed at 1.5k miles:

1.  Door above radio difficult to open. Must pull out first, before pushing
in to unlatch.

2.  Check Engine light has been on for 300 miles. Naturally, I checked the
engine fluids and car runs ok. Dealer set up appointment next week to check
it. He thinks it is an O2 sensor problem.

3.  Water collects in fuel cap area after rain or car wash. Looks like
design defect.

4.  Windshield washer fluid level indicator is inactive, although washer
level is topped off.
