Factory alarm on E36

Hi,

I have an E36 325is with the bmw factory alarm.  Apparently, the alarm is
hooked up to the horn.  Arming and disarming the alarm almost always result
in people turning their heads towards the car!  My friends and especially my
sister keeps making fun of my alarm!! 8-{ Can't really blame them, though.
It sounds too "cute" for a sporty car.

Can a siren be easily (ie.cheaply) hooked up the existing alarm?
