Re: VLASIS.THEODORE@domain.elided asks for anyone with input on YOKO
Intermediates.
I have owned 3 sets (2 for may former '84 M635CSi & a current set
on my '91 M5) and I like them very much. The first set on my '84 (replaced
the 240/45-415 TRXs) lasted for only a very short mileage - about 8,000 on
the rear! I talked to Yokohama and they agreed to replace the 2 on the
rear free of charge. I then ran them about about 14-15K total and then
replaced all 4. The second set lasted about 16-17K, probably about average
depending upon driving habits. I would expect 15-20K and the current set
on my M5 has about 14K and they look fine.
Concerning handling (cornering, dry and wet braking), they are
*excellent*. I really like them. I will probably try the Dunlop SP8000s
next time, but it is not because of any dissatisfaction with the Yokes.
