a reminder to all of you:

unsubscribe requests should be directed to

majordomo@domain.elided

and not to the list.  the only thing in the body of the message requesting
removal from the list should be the following:

unsubscribe bmw-digest

i'm leaving on vacation tomorrow morning; there is a temporary manager
who may be reached via

list-owner@domain.elided

he is off site, so if a really major disaster seems to be happening,
our sysadmin (who should be left completely and utterly alone except for
utter disaster) is jim ault, ault@domain.elided
