Thanks for your P-Zero experience. I think I'm going to do away with tires
that only get 15k miles on 'em. Do you or anyone else know what the tread
life is on the Yokohamas AVS Intermediates? If I can get 40K out of the
D40 M2, I wouldn't mind paying the price especially since I've heard some
rave reviews about the M2s.

That was me on my 89 M3. I started at 60 then gas'ed it. Some guy on the
toyota list got:
3rd: 3.9 sec
4th: 5.2 sec
5th: 6.2 sec
in this turbo Toyoto Corina with mods with linear extrapolation. In other
words, he started from rest to over 100MPH and took the difference between
the times at 60 and 80MPH. How did you get the 60-80 times?
