hi all, i am new on this list, just bought a 86 325es from my brother
harry who used to be on this list.
lat week, the car would not start, checked all the usual culprits
including the mcu, coil etc. finally found a faulty reference sensor
which was causing a problem. i could get the car to run after tapping on
this sensor. changed this sensor and no more problems.
i now have a perfectly good mcu and new coil if you need these.
