After being very passive as a digest user, I've encountered a need to break my silence and ask a question: Is is normal for my '83 745i to hesitate when dead cold (outside temp in high 20s-low 30s F) before engaging? The hesitation lasts for about 3-4 seconds. Thanks for your thoughts. Jan
