Graham asks about ATF in the gearbox. I have seen it used at the race track. I currently use a 7 (seven) weight oil in my Formula Vee gearbox; however, while these oils do reduce the amount of fluid resistance in the gearbox, they also leak past normal transmission seals with a vengeance.
