I'm going to store my 88' M3 this winter ( ilive in Wisconsin). I am looking
for suggestions on preparing the car for storage. Here is what I have so far.
Fill gas tank all the way to the top until it spills. This is supposed to keep
air out of the charcoal cansiter.
Plug PCV vent plug.
Put oiled rag in throttle body.
Put oiled rag in exaust pipe.
Remove battery.
Put "stabil" in gas (follow can instructions).
Change oil.
Clean idle stabilizer valve.
Put car on jack stands (so springs don't sag).
Rotate crank once a month so valve springs don't get wrecked (turn crank with
wrench).
Anybody have any other suggestions or disagree with any of the above?
