[bmw] Dead speedometer 88 535i

Hi all,
I'm putting my car back together after an accident. My spedo has stopped 
working, and i will assume the jar from the accident had something to do 
with it.
Anybody know if there is a dedicated fuse for it and where the speed sensor 
is on ths car?
I have it up on a ramp but cant seem to find the speedo wire.
