[bmw] <E30> 325iC Power Door Locks

E30 power locks have no relation to the ignition key whatsoever and one
should have absolutely no effect on the other..

I have seen a number of aftermarket alarm systems which provide features
such as locking / unlocking doors when you start/stop the car (anti
car-jacking).. and I've helped more than one person rip out the aftermarket
alarm from their E30 when it stopped working properly.. sooo

Dig around under the drivers side dash area and see if there is an alarm
control box (usually about the size of a sandwich but metal or plastic box).
This might be your problem.
