[bmw] [bmw e28] Door hanging procedure?

Doug - make sure the (originally) gray plastic covers for the ends of the
latches on the doors haven't fallen off or cracked.  Loss of these makes the
doors "bounce" back on you, necessitating slamming them.
If these are OK, you can slightly loosen the screws on the door jamb and
reshut - may make it better.
