I gotta ask....where do you find a 540 lacking? Torque? Top end?
I've been in a couple and they were always stunning in terms of
power and handling (especially in light of their weight).
Where do your live that you can drive hard enough or fast enough
to think the 540 isn't enough?
At 83000 miles I think suspension rebuilds and mods would be a
better investment.
Not criticizing mind you....but if the 540 doesn't do it for
you....there is only one answer....M5
