[bmw] Last plea for immobiliser help

This is the first blank from this list for me ...
I have already asked a couple of times but its off
to BMW if there is no response to this one .....

Is there ANY way of re-syncronising the ECU immobiliser
on a 1996 E34 with the tumbling code keys?

The key still has all the codes but the ECU refuses to recognise it.
The spare works fine but I need back up.
