Need Help with '95 318ti Starter Motor

Hi,
       Can anyone tell me if there are two bolts or three bolts holding the 
starter motor to the bellhousing in an M42 engine?  Mine is a '95 318ti 
automatic.  It looks like there are only two, but it won't come out and space is 
pretty tight to see what's really happening.
