those who have been around the lists on digest.net for a while are aware
that i have generally been reluctant to ask for direct support.

well, i guess i've been saving up for when i really need it. due to a
financial disaster of significant magnitude, i could use a wad of cash
which is probably not too different from the amount i'm out of pocket for
running the lists all these years.
