E12 5-spd

   I doubt that your 5-spd came from a USA E28, as your car has a 
speedo cable, which non of the USA E28 did.
   That's not the issue however.  You just need help repairing yours. 
Replacing the bearings and synchros can be done and may help, but may 
not totally cure it if it had been abused in a prior life.
