RE: [alfa] Alfa Youth- Thoughts from "young blood".

> Thoughts from "young blood"...

Wait a minute, I resemble that remark. ;)

I'm catching up on back AD so I may have missed something here.

I would definitely say there are some issues that the current Alfa club
needs to be work out and fix.

I'm surprised by comments about new and old car owners not mixing.
Personally, I see the potential for the club to help spark an interest in
the new cars and to help build up demand for both new and older cars.

I am constantly amazed at the older parts still available from Alfa and
other vendors. Especially for some of the older cars. Sure some parts are
getting harder and harder to find, but that's to be expected. Still, in
Europe and the rest of the world, most parts are still readily available for
some fairly old vehicles. Now imagine Alfa returns to the US and brings back
a parts distribution system. Perhaps, hopefully, it will become even easier
to get access to those parts. I wouldn't expect them to be stocked
regularly, but every little bit helps.

If you start ostracizing potential new members with newer cars all that will
be accomplished is creating an ever larger division within the club.
Considering the relatively small size of the club now, such a division would
potentially be disastrous.

If this is in line with previous comments, then chalk this up as a "me too".
