Me too, Joe, me too!
Biba, was this a ploy to start another flame war? (It's been a
while!). Anyway, it's too bad your sampling is kinda skewed. I mean, who
do you expect to find frequenting a bead blaster shop anyway? Maybe
someone who rebuilds and restores cars for a living, like yourself?
(Actually, that is kind of a scarey thought: a party of Bibas.) The rest
of us don't really have the time to do a project like that thoroughly. You're
down a car, then spending every waking moment evenings and weekends for a
zillion years putting it back together again. Been There, haven't
finished Doing That (project started in 1996, still not finished...).
I will put in my vote for media blasting over sand blasting as far
as paint refinishing goes... except you do find those little beads in the
strangest places for years afterwards....
