[alfa] Movie Soundtracks

It's OT, but the people who "improve" movie soundtracks are called
"Foley Artists" after the gentleman who pioneered the techniques. Ambient
noise often makes the real sounds unuseable or unconvincing.

The main characters also drive off in a Fiat 500... and there you can share

Also a Ducati Monster visible. I think they changed the sound of that too

The sound of things like cars (and even most of the dialogue) is replaced or
added in post production; it is very rare to use sound recorded on a
location
for things like this because it is too difficult. Even if synchronized
sound
is recorded together with the shooting the film, it's most often used as a
"scratch track" or guide for the people who create the soundtrack you hear
in
the final movie. Mechanical sounds are very often "created" out of the
wrong
sounds, or even several sounds at once, and are not naturalistic in most
cases.
Movies are better than real life!
