RE: [alfa] spider heater valve

Hi all--I tried the heater valve R&R this week-end.  I was absolutely
stymied by the hood release cable--you can't get the knee bolster out
without detatching the cable.  How in the world does one do that?! My
factory manual says to refer to Unit 56, but the 91-94 Spider manual does
not have the 'Body' chapters. Do you have to release the cable from the hood
latch and pull the cable out through the sheath? Needless to say, I didn't
get the job done- started too late in the day.  Thanks!
