[alfa] Biba's cutout problem / Kevin's loose connector

I've never had any problems with my Marelliplex, but I came close to a major
calamity. Several years ago, when I was getting ready to go to Columbus for
the convention, I discovered that the insulation on one of the pickup wires
inside the distributor was breached. The conductor had corroded and only a
couple of strands remained - just the kind of thing to leave you cursing the
Plex while waiting for the tow truck!

IAP carried Plex spares, so I was able to get a new pickup and avert the
crisis. Now I carry a spare. Kevin, this is the quick way to solve your
problem with the connector at the other end of the pickup wire, too. It's a
molded assembly, so you get a new wire with the pickup.
