[alfa] HELP! NO FUEL NO SPARK!

Greetings fellow Alfa fans:
I love my 90 Alfa Spider Veloce (fuel injected). My very first significant 
problem occured recently though which has left me very frustrated:

First, it started to sound rough and backfire for a few days then I lost 
power (intermittently) to the fuel pump....then I lost spark. I checked the 
fuel pump and the relays and they seem OK but there is no power getting to 
the pump.  Furthermore, I lost power to the ignition coil shortly after that 
and I do no know how or why... or even if the two problems are related. Ive 
checked all the relays and all the grounds (I think) and all the fuses and 
all connections. Im starting to think its the ECU. HELLLLPPPP!!!
Is there something simple electrically that Ive overlooked or is it my ECU 
which may be out of commision.
Thanks for any guidance/advice. Im sure someone has had a similiar problem.
