[alfa] administrivia: virus control on the digest

i just want to remind the readership that it is highly unlikely that you
will ever see a virus or worm actually transmitted through the list. there
is an extensive, multi layered defense in place to keep any form of malware
from reaching the readership (well, through my server anyway).

i just described it in some detail over on offtopic. i can forward a copy
of that posting to anyone who wants to understand the nuts and bolts of
these processes (it doesn't describe the final stages, i suppose i can
draft a follow up on that part for offtopic and forward that to any other
interested parties.)
