if it has ABS, just don't. many ABS systems do not function correctly with
silicone based fluids (most DOT 5 fluids are silicone based.)
the switchover can be time consuming, and silicones are hard to pour w/o
air bubbles.
in some older cars (old british sports cars being the best known example),
silicone fluids are extremely incompatible with the rubber seals.
